Our growing email list indicates that there is a larger “community “ out there who is interested in our work. A more local community has also grown up around us and the activities here at Starbridge Centre. We feel that the time has come to perhaps start a process of honouring and strengthening our community. According to spiritual tradition a “community” is a group of people with a shared dedication towards genuine meditative practise and spiritual development. For this project to be successful you need teachers whom you have tested and found trustworthy The teachers must teach a path and a technique that not only makes sense, but even more so speaks to your soul, to your progressive karma and to your heart. In this way, the resonance of the teachers and the teaching in conjunction with the community support inspire you to do what is needed for you to surrender to your inner, eternally present Light. Such communities are important. We invite those of you who feel you in some sense or other have affinity with our teaching and way of working to contact us with all sorts of ideas of how the community aspect could be strengthened and what it can be used for. It may be relevant to underline that we are not interested in communal living. We ask you at this stage to contact us by letter or email with your ideas and suggestions.
