Counselling Course - Module #4

The correspondence counselling course is made up of 4 modules (47 lessons in total), each module building on the previous.

In order to receive a certificate for your achievements you will need to have received a satisfactory mark for each module.

Module 1 is free, and acts as an introductory module; giving you the opportunity to trial both our material and elearning system free of charge. Modules 2, 3 & 4 are priced at $150AUD each and include a unique 2-5 page essay that must be completed at the end of each of them.

Once you have completed all 4 modules the price for the certificate is $50AUD, which includes postage, handling and preparation. This brings your total investment for this course at either $450AUD without the certificate or $500AUD with the certificate.

Lesson 1 - Dharma

When there is harmony with the divine workings of creation, problems will solve themselves. It is as simple as that and as difficult as that. The cosmic order that upholds the universe is not different from the moral order that rules man's destiny

Lesson 3 - Time and the Seven Year Cycles

There can be no movement without time. In higher states of consciousness time does not exist, there are no becoming. If we move down the ladder, towards human everyday consciousness, time and rhythms, becoming, is a reality, a reality that follows many intriguing laws.

Lesson 5 - Positive Affirmations

If we look deeper into ourselves and what goes on around us, It is obvious how we constantly repeat statements about ourselves, usually critical or negative statements.

Lesson 7 - Intuition & Higher Guidance

Do the client want truth Or just their own "truth" confirmed. Do the clairvoyant want truth Or just their own "truth" confirmed.

Lesson 9 - Birth & Death

How is it to die? Raymond Moody has studied three types of circumstances: People resuscitated after having been declared clinically dead People coming very close to death during accidents etc.people telling someone their experiences while they died Studies of these three categories shows, according to Moody, very similar experiences.

Exam

This is necessary to do if and only if you want a formal Starbridge Centre recognition of your study.

Lesson 2 - Contemplation

The Dalai Lama states: “It is my ] belief that if prayer, meditation, and contemplation -which is more discursive and analytic- are combined in daily practice, the effect on the practitioner's mind and heart will be all the greater. One of the major aims and purposes of religious practice for the individual is an inner transformation from the undisciplined, untamed, unfocused state of mind toward one that is disciplined, tamed, and balanced.”

Lesson 4 - Sexuality

Most people have hang ups and unfulfilled longings in the sexual area, resulting in lots of energy that are not moving, neither outward in living out these erotic dreams, nor transformed into free energy to be utilized elsewhere. If deeper development is to happen, the sexual energy must be accepted as complete as possible.

Lesson 6 - How To Work Beyond The Ego

It is said that our consciousness normally only has access to 10% of the totality of our brain. Working beyond the ego is working with the remaining 90%. If you suffer from a nuisance that belongs to the 10%, to your conscious part, work there, in all other cases working beyond the ego is the only option for change. Working beyond the ego is possible because of the law of resonance.

Lesson 8 - Multidimensional Consciousness

Modern science and ancient spiritual teaching are beginning to meet, it is no longer ridiculous to talk about many dimensions – both membrane therapy and esoteric s do that.

Lesson 10 - Longing

Existential Longing may be described as a vague memory of something desirable, connected with a belief or an experience of this longed-for-desire as unobtainable; there is a feeling that you cannot get hold of THE SUBSTANCE of it.

This is where you dig deeper, and we look more at compassion and the unconscious mind. Particular attention is paid to archetypes and how they’re embedded in ancient Greek myths.

Bringing this all together we delve into sexuality, death & dying, affirmations, intuition and the ego. Building on all previous modules we are able to relate everything back to archetypes, and how an astute counsellor can notice archetypes at play in every human interaction, encounter or relationship.
