Healing is not always a cure. Nor does cure always involve healing.
Healing pertains to the spirit; cure pertains to the body-mind.
Healing is awakening to God and the Transcendental Domain as Love.
That is what the true healer does - and is.
John White, here from SRF magazine summer 1997
If we look at spiritual healing on the different levels of our existence we would arrive at definitions such as these:
Physical healing basically implies healing of cells and tissues, broken bones growing together etc.
Etheric or pranic healing is working with energy flows in and near the body.
Astral-emotional healing focuses on restoring integrity in the psyche.
Higher astral healing, or cosmic healing, encourages a resonance from the causal level, where there is truth and no conflicts. This resonance allows unbalances gently to be transcended.
The Law of Resonance:
If an object vibrates at a certain rate of vibration, everything in its vicinity that has the same vibration as a latent possibility will start vibrating at that frequency.
This law applies to everything, from subatomic to cosmic proportions.
In terms of human receptivity, this means that if somebody harbour a quality or problem that we to some degree harbour ourselves, we will resonate with the person, and knowledge of ourselves will thus help us knowing something about the other person.
Spiritual healing is higher qualities channelled through the law of resonance.
Etheric and astral healing
In a nutshell the difference between the two is that in etheric healing we attempt to create circulation in stagnant areas.
The goal is to create a flow.
In astral healing we attempt to channel higher energy, put the plug in so to say,
The goal is to be still.
WORKING WITH CHAKRAS AND 2’CHAKRAS:
Use the whole hand when you are working on a chakra. Use either whole hand or the two middle fingers when working on a 2’chakra. Hold your hand still in the points, it is the law of resonance and the higher beings and energy that works, not your ego
Two types of points that are especially good as access points for healing,
You can give hands on healing on all areas of the body, as directed by the cards, respecting privacy and dignity.
There are two types of points that are especially good as access points for healing; especially if precision in placing of hands or fingers is observed. The points are the main chakras on the front and back, along the centre-line of the body, and the secondary chakras.
Which points to choose is in many healing systems assessed intuitively, but they can also be chosen by the client via the law of synchronicity, which is the method we teach here.
This last method has important advantages such as:
The clients responsibility for him or her-self is maintained
No further karma from wrong choices is made for the healer.
The method goes deeper than the etheric or prana-level healing, and into the astral, where the root-causes of the problems are.
Healing and Tarot
We teach you to use the Major Arkana tarot in hands on healing together with the cosmic cards
Tarot used alone, is powerful, but there is a risk, that issues are exposed, without being able to do something about it.
Tarot used in combination with the Cosmic cards, and the contemplations connected to the cards, combine to form a powerful tool of transformation,; utilizing energies from the higher order or Dharma embedded in the cosmos. (Patience is as always needed!)
The zodiac, planets and tarot affect us on different levels of our being.
The Star signs in the zodiac and the planets are archetypes; they are parts of our blue-print and part of the blue-print that caused us to be who we are.
They interact with us in different ways, roughly describable in this way:
The star signs are our hardware; together the star signs emanate the energy that determines our makeup, our physical and psychical building blocks.
The planets are our software, it is they who provide us with the strength’s or limitations we have in dealing with our reality and life.
Tarot is relating to the astral-emotional level, and is thus closer to our everyday consciousness.
About the cosmic cards
The Sun, Moon and planets are connected to the human body in accordance with, the Guru of Paramahansa Yogananda, Sri Yukteswar’s teaching.
The solar system with its planets starts here with the Earth, and then comes the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The outmost planet, Pluto, is excluded, because only computer images and no real photos of the planet exist so far.
Pluto is also excluded because it is not necessarily constructive to work with the lower astral realms at this stage in human evolution.
Pluto rules the underworld, which could be translated as anything that pulls us down, roughly the same as the lower astral.
A technique of hands on spiritual healing
Your job is to put your hands on the chosen points, while you are as meditative, centred, compassionate and non-attached as you can be
We will here teach you a technique of hands on spiritual healing, where the client chooses the points that are the entrance points of the healing.
The choice the client is making is intuitively to choose certain Cosmic cards and tarot cards. These cards in turn will, because of the law of synchronicity and the law of-resonance be translatable into positions in the physical and auric bodies that are relevant entrance points for healing at that given moment.
The translation from three cards to the body follows guidelines from Kabala and Sri Yukterswar’s guidelines in relation to the connection between the cosmos and the chakras. This is too complex to go into in this one-weekend course.
This technique offers a set of contemplations and a visual contemplation, as an added bonus. The contemplation-symbol is based on the chosen cards arranged according to the classical tarot symbol, symbolised in the numbers 1, 3 and 4,
Selection of the cards works in accordance with the law of synchronicity that states that events mirror each other, even if they are not linked together by cause and effect.
The pictorial and contemplative messages in the chosen cards affect our psyche according to the law of resonance
The procedure:
Ask the client to choose cards from their own intuition or feeling,
not from intellect.
Choose the cards while they have their backs up.
Ask your client to choose
First: 1 cosmic card, among the 12 zodiacal cards only
Then: 3 major arcana Tarot cards (from either Wirth or Waite’s decks),
Lastly: 4 cosmic cards among the planets only
By this way of choosing the cards, they will in their own right give you a way of giving healing intoThe most important issue at the moment (the chosen zodiacal sign)
The balance in the astral ( the three tarot-cards)
Our connection to the physical reality (The four cosmic planet-cards)
When the cards are chosen, but before the hands-on healing:
Ask the client to contemplate the chosen cards, as a whole, consisting of the cards placed in the 1-3-4 mandala. First in its own right, without further instructions (maybe 1 - 5 minutes). While this happens, you can complete the yellow and green sheets. Do not interpret the cards. .
It is (soon) possible to buy E-books giving further understanding of the star signs, planets, and the tarot.
Make the whole process contemplative!
If practically possible, it is a good idea to suggest to the client that he or she continue the contemplations at home.
The contemplations will help energy to come to the issue that needs healing, the hands on healing will create grounding, counselling and talking about it risk to destroy these effects.
When you suggest that the client continue the contemplations at home, make it a point that the client does not connect the contemplations with the body points you used.
A safeguard:
Use a full set of major arcana, (all 22 cards), but if the two major tarot cards the devil and judgement are chosen by the client, do not connect them with the healing, chakras or secondary chakras, let their impact stand alone as cards, do not comment on them in the healing situation.
If the two major tarot cards “the devil and / or judgement come up use the third eye in your healing, and comment that that is not because these two cards belong there, but because clarity is needed in order to work with these cards.
Don’t allow yourself to be drawn into long explanations about this, as it risks dispersing the energy build-up. The client has generally to accept that the keywords and contemplations deliberately leaves things open, allowing for conscious and subconscious work in the client’s mind.
Counselling or analysing should accordingly be kept to a minimum regarding the contemplations and cards chosen in the healing.
REMEMBER:
THE TAROT, ZODIAC AND PLANET CARDS DO NOT ILLUSTRATE
THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN US AND OTHER PEOPLE,
IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THESE CARDS AS THE BALANCE OR UNBALANCE BETWEEN OUR INNER MALE AND FEMALE ASPECTS, REGARDLESS OF OUR PHYSICAL SEX.
The Hands-on healing technique:
This can be done with the client sitting on a chair
or lying on his back on a massage table
Have one hand on the main chakra, and the other alternating between the secondary chakras indicated by the tarot cards. The points chosen by the planets are not included here
Briefly let go with both hands, then with your hands alternating between the points chosen by the planets, combine intuitively and in as many possible ways as you can, the secondary chakras indicated by the choice of planets. The points relating to the zodiac card and the tarot cards are not included here.
