The following is a contemplative technique, using the cosmic cards and major arcana tarot and their placement in the mental aura as a object of meditation and contemplation, gradually creating balance in our mental aura.



The points and cards we use for this exercise are highlighted in the crude drawing above, and attempts to describe the workings of these points are made by the cosmic cards and tarot cards ascribed to these points

The mental aura
Why the cards are placed where they are

Left side

On the left side of the mental aura, at the left mental control point, we have the space in skull, with the keywords everything within and higher consciousness.
This card is here as a protection. Nowadays most people cannot meditate in the real sense, which would allow fantasies to be taken for guidance. This image creates a resonance in the mind of what higher consciousness is, thus helping the mind not to be carried away.

In the left mental control point we also have the Pope with the keywords, Spiritual authority,higher guidance penetrates the darkness, and Spiritual teaching comes whenever there is balance. These cards are placed here as a protection.
In the left side of the mental aura (not the point) we have the Fool with the keywords higher purpose, innocence and where is your wisdom. Again these cards are placed here as a protection.
Space in skull, the pope and the Fool all acts as a sort of “railing” on the sides of the narrow path, preventing the guidance received in the right mental point from being lost on its path along the mental aura from the right mental point, over ID to the left point, or in fact more correctly the guidance is helped to maintain its true content, while the total mental aura is a quantum physical phenomenon
We have the left shoulder-point with the Emperor, and the keywords: Balanced intellect in the world of matter,mind or manas.
This card is here to evoke caution. Guidance has to pass the intellect in order to become conscious, and the intellect is a treacherous friend what is your theory or model, and what is guidance?-
In Arthur Waite’s cards the devil can be seen on the Emperors left shoulder, meaning that the emperor is listening to the wrong guidance
Again this is a reminder of the need for caution, in the intellect there is embedded arrogance, which leads to wrong guidance not being detected.
Finally we in the left and right shoulder points also have the planet Mercury with the keywords: Fickleness and Void
Here the placements show If guidance can pas fickleness and void, it is home.

The mental aura - Why the cards are placed where they are: Right side

On the right side of the mental aura, in the right mental control point, is the Skull in Universe with the keywords: Separateness, and What in you is different
Related to this point is also the technique of tuning in to higher guidance here in the right mental point.
In higher consciousness there is no guidance, there is no mind all there is, is God-. To receive guidance, means that someone receives, there is a mind, separateness from God. The Divine creates a resonance in the mind, but the mind remains intact there is guidance.
In the right mental point is the tarot card the Magician with the keyword: What is your magic?
Our magic is our uniqueness our uniqueness is our magic. It is only our uniqueness that contributes to the world, the rest is unimportant.
In the right side of the mental aura (not the point) is the tarot card the Chariot, with the keyword: Where is your battle?
Our battle is the tension between our uniqueness and our conditions.
In the right shoulder point is the tarot card the Lovers, with the keywords: Male energy needs to relate. and The choice: Is life-energy directed down and out into the outer world, or in and upwards towards God?
This point reflects the mental control there is in relation to the base chakra. In every moment is an implicit choice, do we want the energy to go down and into the world, or in and up towards God. This implicit choice affects what question is asked in guidance, what type of answer is listened to, and how the answer is understood.

Healing of mental aura

The procedure:

Look at the picture with a relaxed glance, while you at the same time have part of your attention in the corresponding point in the mental aura

First contemplate one card at a time

• Contemplate all the pictures

• Focus on whichever cards that had charge

• Focus on whichever card that felt insignificant or hardly was there

• When all cards have been worked with, then

• Lay the mandala and meditate on all cards as one mandala.

If you want to work with all the cards, we suggest you start with the zodiac in the heart, move to the lovers, Mercury skull in universe, cosmic birth, universe in skull, Emperor, Mercury, the zodiac.
