Working with Dreams
Lesson 1 - Introduction
The course focuses and in an easy readable style on important aspects of the main areas that any counsellor, regardless of way of working, needs to know, in order to deal with the vast and intriguing complexity that is the human being.
Lesson 3 - The Purpose of Dreams
The purpose of dreams: Dreams are always attempting authenticity - that you manifest who you are, unconditionally. The simplest dream is the attempt from the Self to provide a wholeness, to integrate and to make the person whole.
Lesson 5 - Individuation
The process of individuation can be described in many ways. A common way seems to be to divide it in two steps or aspects:1. The completion of the individual, the development of the common consciousness to its maximum level of quality. 2. To work towards quantitative shifts of consciousness, move towards higher states of consciousness.
Lesson 7 - Dreams and The Chakras
The aura and dreams are closely related, one could say that dreams are the aura reflecting itself. The colours in dreams thus has a special interest, in that they primarily reflects the continuous balancing and stabilising aspect of the dream process.
Lesson 9 - Dreams & Consciousness
Ego consciousness is the consciousness of differences. Higher consciousness is the consciousness of unity. Unconsciousness is lack of consciousness about differences.
Lesson 2 - Ethics
In this chapter we cover some basic rules for safe and ethical conduct of therapy – including dream-work, how to deal with privileged information, etc.
Lesson 4 - The Gestalt Method
Perls rejected any notion of an unconscious mind, preferring to think of the personality as a rubber ball floating and turning in water, so that only one portion is visible at a time. The Gestalt therapist works with the portion that is visible in the context of the moment. So instead of trying to trace a symptom [or a dream] back to some childhood trauma, he always asks the person what it is doing for him in the here and now.
Lesson 6 - Dreams & Wisdom
The most outstanding aspect of pure wisdom dreams is that their message is obvious. They have a character that makes them self evident for the dreamer; there is no reason, often not even a possibility for interpretations in the normal way.
Lesson 8 - The Auragramme
The purpose of working with an Auragramme is primarily that it is a playful and creative process in itself. It makes it possible to obtain a colourful, visual overview of your own energy field. Dreams with colours will generally only start when a person is relatively engaged in his or her own development.
